Erdene Microgrid R&D Center partners with UNILEAD, Japan

The Erdene Microgrid Research and Development Center, based at the School of Engineering and Technology of the National University of Mongolia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with the Japanese company UNILEAD.

The partnership will focus on:

• Joint research and development in renewable energy and microgrids
• Implementing pilot and demonstration projects
• Internships and exchange programs for students and young researchers
• Jointly applying for and carrying out projects under international research funds and programs
• Supporting UNILEAD's entry into Mongolia's renewable energy market

By combining academic research with industry expertise, this partnership will help bring new technologies into Mongolia's energy sector and strengthen the skills of the next generation of energy professionals.
